Updated News Release to our U.S. customers 8/1/11:OptiGen has reached settlement in its legal claims of infringement and unfair competition filed against Animal Genetics, Inc. for use of the patented prcd-PRA test. The court entered a consent judgement against Animal Genetics and filed sanctions against their legal counsel. Both actions are now matters of public record.
OptiGen's litigation against InGen, Rick Dobbins and other defendants is in progress. OptiGen is committed to protecting its intellectual property and will report other significant developments as they happen.
